Howitzer

Wikipedia defines a howitzer as “a type of artillery piece characterized by a relatively short barrel and the use of comparatively small propellant charges to propel projectiles over relatively high trajectories, with a steep angle of descent.” We’d have to say this is a pretty good summary of the reasoning why we chose to name our most recent build “Howitzer.” In short, we sought out to build something that has not been built before by taking a brand new 2016 Ram 2500 regular cab, long bed powered by the mighty 6.7L Cummins powerplant, and turning it into a regular cab, short bed on 42” tires, double the factory horsepower, and make it capable of annihilating any offroad obstacle that dare lay in its path. Beyond all of that, we wanted to ensure its complete emissions compliance by taking measures that had not been accomplished by anyone before us, to set the stage that you can truly make these trucks very reliable, fun to drive, and capable in any conditions, all while completely conforming to any emissions requirements.
