Dodge Ram Hellwig Big Wig Air Bags | Episode 4

For Episode 4, we performed a relatively simple, yet very necessary installation, onto one of our personal trucks, a 2012 3500 6.7L Cummins. In order for us to safely tow our 38' bumper tow trailer loaded down with the Raptor SD to SEMA, we knew it would need additional load control.

The Ram has already been upfitted with numerous suspension modifications in order to improve the off-road handling, but with many miles and considerable tongue weight hanging off the back, air bags were a necessity. We looked no further than a set of Hellwig's Big Wig Airbags. These airbags install simply in place of the factory rubber bump stops and u-bolt to the rear axle housing. Overall, the installation was a breeze, but made all the difference transforming this off-road rig into a tow vehicle.
