Ecoboost F-150 Leveling Kit | Episode 1

In our premiere Episode, we feature a 2014 F-150 with the 3.5L Ecoboost engine. The customer was looking for nothing too drastic in terms of lifting the truck, but wanted to enhance the overall handling of the truck for daily driving and back roads, coupled with a more level stance that would clear larger 33" BFGoodrich A/T tires wrapped around a set of the new 20" Fuel Trophy wheels.

In order to accomplish this, we went with the Camburg Fox Factory 2.5 Kit. This system includes Fox 2.5 Factory Series Remote Reservoir Coilovers, Camburg 1.25" Uniball Upper Arms, and we then upgraded to Fox 2.5 Remote Reservoir shocks in the rear, where the standard kit would normally come with Fox 2.0 Series shocks in the rear.

In true Power Products fashion, we couldn't leave the engine alone, especially with the larger tires. In order to gain considerable horsepower and fuel economy, we installed one of SCT's SF3 programmers, which definitely more than compensated for the larger tires. On top of this, we also installed a Sprint Booster. One thing that we have noticed on all of the EcoBoost F-150's is their lack of immediate throttle response, due in part to their drive-by-wire throttle position sensor. The Sprint Booster plugs directly into the factory TPS and greatly enhances the signal to improve the throttle response through the entire range, especially noticeable from a dead stop.
