As many owners of 5.9L Cummins have come to find out, the factory exhaust manifold has a severe flaw...it cracks! The problem lies in the tendency of the exhaust manifold to overheat, causing it to expand, and then contract when it cools. All of this expanding and contracting takes its toll on the cast manifold, causing it to create heat-induced cracks. Fortunately, we have numerous solutions for this!
