For 2014, Ram decided to break out some special edition trucks for the heavy duty line. In the past, many of these special editions were limited to the 1500 crowd, but not this year! One package that we are especially excited about is the Black Package, which as you can probably guess, comes dressed to impress in all black. And they didn’t skimp out on us, this is even including the 20” black rims and smoked projector headlights. No longer do you have to take your brand new pickup down to the body shop to strip it of its chrome cladding. The other exciting package exclusive for Cummins owners is the 25th Anniversary Edition. Yes, its really been 25 years since the release of the first Dodge Cummins in 1989. While this was by no means the first diesel ever installed into a pickup, it was definitely a turning point towards the modern day diesel performance market that we know today. This special edition package will feature Katzkin leather interior with “25th Anniversary” logos embroidered into the backrests along with the resounding Cummins “C” in the headrests. Custom floor mats, door badges, hitch cover, and a red valve cover are also added to the package. For those that are proud of the Cummins heritage and in the market for a new truck, this package is a necessity.
