The HY35 turbo found on the 2001-2002 automatic transmission equipped Cummins have a hard steel line coming off of the wastegate, as opposed to the easily modified rubber hose on the HX35 turbos. This simple hook bolts onto the turbo housing and controls the wastegate lever by increasing the pressure on the valve.
