We at Diesel Power Products offer a deferred core program in which we allow you to defer the typical upfront core charge when purchasing via credit card payment. All cores, whether the core charge was deferred or not, must be returned within 21 days from delivery date of product requiring core charge. Failure to do so can result in forfeiture of the entire core charge return. In the event you originally deferred the core charge, by clicking to agree, you authorize Diesel Power Products to charge you for the core charge.

All cores must be returned to the original warehouse that original shipment was sent from. If a return label is provided in the original shipment, use this tag. If one is not included, contact us immediately, and we can provide you with the correct address of where the core(s) must be returned to, as well as an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number so that you can facilitate the return shipment. When a return label is not included, it is your responsibility to pay for the return shipment; you have the option to pay it directly to your courier of choice or contact us and we can provide a discounted shipping label for an additional charge. DO NOT rely on the return address on the original label as a source for where to ship to.

If cores are shipped to the incorrect warehouse, your core money will be returned less the shipping cost for us to send the core(s) to the correct warehouse, or if you deferred the core you may be charged for the shipping amount.

Cores that have been disassembled and/or have missing and/or damaged major components will not receive full core credit. Returned cores must be on a "like-for-like" basis, meaning that the returned core has the exact same fitment as the remanufactured component that was purchased. In the event that the core is not "like-for-like," your core may not be eligible for return / credit.

Diesel Power Products has the right to alter this policy (i.e. extend the terms) for any reason. If you have an outstanding circumstance, contact us.

What is a "Core Charge"?

In order to understand what a core charge is, you must first understand what a core is. In the automotive industry, most products are manufactured from brand new materials. However, numerous products are also remanufactured, meaning that the manufacturer of the product takes a used product, typically removed from a vehicle, disassembles, and replaces all worn components of the master product. A great example of this is in regards to automatic transmissions in which the manufacturer takes an existing transmission, replaces all of the inner working components, such as the torque converter, valve body, etc. and merely reuses the case.

Because aftermarket manufacturers require a steady stream of incoming cores to build, they charge a deposit on the core, known as a core charge, that is refunded upon receipt. In some cases, the core is not reusable, such as in the event of a cracked case, at which point the core deposit would not be credited as the core component is not reusable.

If you plan on returning your core you have two options.

OPTION 1: You can accept it, which means you will be charged for the part AND the core at time of purchase. You still have the option to send it back, and if you do, the core will be refunded back on the card used, presuming the core meets core criteria and the core is returned within 21 business days from originally receiving your order. If you have outstanding circumstances that would not allow the return to occur within 21 days, please contact us.

OPTION 2 You can defer the core charge. If you defer it, you will not be charged a core at time of purchase. You will have 21 business days from the day you receive it to send it back. As long as the core is received within the 21 business days, you will not be charged. If 21 business days goes by and you do not send it back, the card on file will be charged the core amount. You still may send it back, and once received, we will issue the core amount as in store credit, pending any limitations as set forth by the manufacturer.Core deferral is limited to payment by credit card only.

What is "Core Return Shipping Cost"?

This product is remanufactured and requires that your original part being removed (core) to be returned. The return shipping charge of your core is not included in the purchase price of the item, but we offer you a flat rate charge that includes a core return shipping label as a convenience. If you would like a core return label included with your purchase, please select this option.

Please note that the flat fee is only intended for the contiguous 48 United States. If you are wanting to ship (return) this product from outside of this boundary, please contact us for a shipping quote or expect that we will contact you before processing your order for a shipping quote at which point we will charge the difference if you accept.

Precision performance is what you can expect from these hand built injectors for your Commons Rail Cummins. Big Bang Injection is making some big waves within the diesel performance industry. With their ties to the infamous Smarty line of tuners and their extreme commitment to building and perfecting the Cummins Common Rail injectors, they have made quite a name for themselves and have lived up to the reputation without flaw.

Big Bang Injection was formed at the request of accomplished engine software tuning guru Marco of MADS Electronics SMARTY fame. After extensive testing and research of existing aftermarket performance injector options, none were found to be built to an acceptable standard, when utilized in an extreme performance application. Marco clearly saw a need in the aftermarket, for a top shelf injector with consistencies, tolerances and calibrations, as good as, and better, than OEM quality.

Unable to locate a suitable existing product, Marco sought out, the best of the best, leaders in the field of Common Rail Fuel Injection Technology. Two years later, after thousands of dynamometer runs, and tens of thousands of street driven miles, BBi is READY. Big Bang Injection has come to market with every intention to dominate.

Each injector set is built with new components and are tested against one another to flow within 2% tolerance of each other to deliver even distribution across the cylinders. Every injector is also further tested to ensure an exacting spray angle, as well as equal hole size and pattern to deliver consistent fuel distribution within the piston bowls for a complete combustion. Further, BBi sought out to correct some of the short falls of the Cummins Common Rail injector that caused premature failures. Not only have they accomplished such a feat, but they have identified and cured the common injector rattle issues that have plagued them for years. That's correct, these injectors will NOT rattle like every other common rail injector on the market.

These Stage 0.5 remanufactured injectors from BBi are built to flow an additional 30% over your stock injectors. The nozzle flow rate of each injector is set to 78 l/h at a pressure of 100bar, in comparison to the stock injectors that flow at 60 l/h/100bar. You may notice that this nozzle flow rate is the same as the Stage 1 injectors, and if so, good, because they are the same exact nozzle as the Stage 1, but the bodies have been "detuned" to lower emissions and EGT's.

Core Exchange Procedure: Customers core injectors have to be received within 30 days of the original invoice date.Upon return and thorough inspection of core injectors, customer will be refunded either the full or a partial pro-rated core deposit.
